After 23 years of service, Yavapai County Human Resources Director Wendy Ross is set to retire next March. Ross, who also heads the county’s risk management department, says she’ll be moving on to start a family business venture.
Ross called her time with the county “incredibly rewarding,” adding it has been a privilege to lead the department and support county employees.
Yavapai County officials praised Ross’s contributions and said a search is underway to find her successor.
