The inside and outside of many homes in the Tri-City area are decorated with Christmas lights. But officials with Yavapai County Emergency Management want to make sure those lights are used safely. They recommend you inspect all lights and extension cords to make sure there are no frayed wires.
Also, be sure to turn off all holiday lights when you leave your home and before you go to bed.
