Kylin Jackson keeps racking up the awards. The Bradshaw Mountain football player has been named the Archie Amerson Running Back of the Year by Sports 360 AZ. Jackson had already been voted the Grand Canyon Region Player of the Year.
Speaking on Sports 360 AZ, Jackson said:
This past season, Jackson rushed for 1,682 yards and 19 touchdowns, and became the Bears’ all-time leader in rushing yards and touchdowns.
The award is named after former NAU running back Archie Amerson, who won the Walter Payton Award for best offensive player in NCAA I-AA in 1996. He went on to play in the CFL and won the Grey Cup with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 1999.
