The Prescott boys basketball team took an early lead over ALA Gilbert North in last night’s game, only to have the Eagles go on a big second quarter run and go up before halftime. Cold shooting marred the Badgers’ efforts in the third quarter, but they made up for it with a 20-point fourth quarter. That would not be enough to overcome ALA Gilbert North as the Badgers lost 56-53.
Jack Golleher posted 15 points for Prescott. Jake Diener tallied 13 points. Caden Lozen notched ten points. Drew Jolley chipped in five points.
Prescott is 1-7 overall on the season. Next up, they hit the road to Bullhead City tomorrow to open Grand Canyon Region play against Mohave. The Badgers finish the 2025 portion of their schedule Monday at Goldwater, then are off until New Year’s Day when they begin play in the Nike Tournament of Champions.
