The official start of winter is just a few days away, but that doesn’t mean the risk of a wildfire in the Tri-City area is at an end. In fact, the chance for a wildfire is increasing.
Prescott Wildfire Risk Manager Conrad Jackson tells The News:
Jackson points out Colorado experienced the worst wildfire in state history at the end of December. That was the Marshall Fire, which burned hundreds of homes in 2021.
