Ex-Badger Uriah Tenette Makes ESPN’s Top 10 Plays

He made it on ESPN. Former Prescott basketball player Uriah Tenette earned a spot on the network’s Top Ten Plays of the night for his dunk in Sunday’s match-up with Florida Gulf Coast University. That was the number nine play of the night. Here is ESPN’s description of that highlight:

The final score in that game was New Mexico 75, Florida Gulf Coast 59. Tenette registered eight points for the Lobos, along with five rebounds, one assist, and one steal. That bumped New Mexico’s record up to 9-2.

So far this season, “Tenacious T” is averaging just under eleven points per game. His season high was 15 versus Santa Clara back on December 6th. Tenette also has 29 rebounds, 19 assists, and 17 steals. New Mexico hits the court again this Saturday when they host San Jose State.
