Don’t be surprised to see crews still working on I-17 through Yavapai County over the next few weeks. While the I-17 improvement project between Sunset Point and Anthem is pretty much complete, ADOT officials say a few finishing touches are still needed. Crews are conducting surveying and landscaping work.
The I-17 improvement project added flex lanes to help with traffic flow and widened several bridges over the interstate. The project took three years to complete.
