Arizona drivers are enjoying an early Christmas gift—lower gas prices across the state just in time for the holidays.
AAA Arizona spokesman Julian Paredes says it’s typical for prices to dip during the winter season.
“For once, the most expensive gas in the state isn’t in Maricopa County. It’s in Graham County, averaging $3.25 a gallon. The cheapest? La Paz County, at just $2.83.”
Here in Yavapai County, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is $3.07, down seven cents from a week ago.
AAA credits the seasonal decline in demand and stable supply for the price drop, giving drivers a little extra holiday cheer at the pump.
