They did very well on the pitch, and they did very well in the classroom. Because of that, six members of the Embry-Riddle men’s soccer team were named to the College Sports Communicators All-District Academic Team. They are Francesco Busini, Nitai Bental, Dario Adjini, Julian Abanil, Sean McGuire, and Chino Valley grad Ravi Holliday.
Busini, a mechanical engineering major from Italy, was an all-conference defender with five assists. Bental, an aerospace engineering major from Israel, registered eleven goals and made the all-conference team. Adjini, a mechanical engineering major, made eighteen starts as a defender. Abanil made fifteen starts as a midfielder and was also named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete. McGuire, a mechanical engineering major, recorded three goals and four assists. Holliday, an applied biology major, was an all-conference defender.
