They made the grade big time and received some nice recognition for it. Four players from the Embry-Riddle volleyball team were named to the College Sports Communicators all-district academic team for their performances both in the classroom and on the court.
Emma Barber, who graduated with a degree in aeronautics and air traffic management, had 284 kills and 225 digs in her senior season. She was also named an NAIA scholar-athlete and was selected to the All-GSAC academic team.
Alice Tuci, a space physics major from Brazil, recorded 708 assists this past season. Alexis Creager, who is also a three-time NAIA scholar-athlete, made 361 digs.
Texas native Hannah Clear, also an NAIA scholar-athlete and an All-GSAC academic selection, registered 182 kills and 51 blocks this past season.
