Gas prices in Arizona took another tumble with the start of the new year.
According to AAA Arizona, the statewide average for a gallon of unleaded is $3.03. That’s down two cents from a week ago. It’s still higher than the national average, which stands at $2.80 a gallon.
The most expensive gas in Arizona is in Graham County at $3.26 a gallon, followed by Coconino County at $3.19 a gallon. Maricopa County checks in at $3.10 per gallon. The cheapest gas is in La Paz County at $2.70 per gallon.
Here in Yavapai County, the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular is $3.02, the same as it was a week ago.
