New Training Simulator for YCSO

The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is getting some new training equipment to help its deputies better deal with situations where a firearm might have to be used.

The training simulator costs $600,000 and will be paid for with money from the state’s Peace Officer Training Equipment Fund. The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the request at its meeting Wednesday.
