Last year, Yavapai County Government held its first State of the County meeting. For the event in 2026, county officials are looking at making some changes to it.
County spokesman David McAtee tells The News going back to last year:
The County Board of Supervisors did not vote on this item at Wednesday’s meeting. Instead, the supervisors directed county staff to come up with a lighter menu to reduce the cost of tickets, and possibly include a free attendance option.
The State of the County meeting would still be held in the same location as last year, the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley.
