A lot more snow than expected came down on Yavapai County Thursday, making some roads an absolute mess.
I-17 near the Highway 169 interchange and I-40 near Ash Fork were closed for a time. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office also responded to weather-related crashes in Bagdad and Sedona. Those accidents did result in some injuries, the extent of which are not known.
A few vehicles also slid off the roadway along Iron Springs Road.
