ERAU Basketball Teams Fall to The Master’s

The Embry-Riddle men’s basketball team was neck-and-neck with The Master’s University in the first half of last night’s game, going into halftime up 32-30. But a 54-point second half by the Mustangs doomed the Eagles to an 84-77 loss. Jacey Canalin led the Riddle offense with 28 points. Peter Dress notched 13 points. Noah Gifft put up eleven points, and Christian Wells registered eight points and eight rebounds.

In the women’s contest, Embry-Riddle spent the night trying to dig themselves out of a big hole, but lost to The Master’s 66-49. Morgan Mann posted eleven points. “The Golden B-B” Bella Barrett garnered eight points. Kate McBride tallied seven points.

The Riddle men are now an even 8-8 on the season, and the women fall to 4-10. Both squads remain in California to face Life Pacific Saturday. The Eagles and Lady Eagles return home Thursday versus La Sierra.
