The rezone of land to allow a sand and gravel operation at the Government Tank Rock Harvest site brought a sizeable crowd to Thursday’s Prescott Valley Town Council meeting. Many in attendance used the public comment portion of the meeting to give their thoughts on the issue.

But Dewey-Humboldt Vice Mayor Jason Chisolm said:
The Town Council voted 5-2 in favor of the rezone, with council members Kenneth Freund and Janell Kiehl opposing it.
