After rallying to beat arch-rival Bradshaw Mountain last Thursday, the Prescott boys basketball team hoped to carry those good vibes into Monday night’s game at ALA Queen Creek. The Patriots, however, came into the contest with a 14-1 record, and they ruled their house. The Badgers lost 62-36.
Jax Kleinman was Prescott’s leading scorer with 12 points. Caden Lozen posted eleven points.
That puts the Badgers’ record at 4-9 for the season. It also marks the final non-region game of the regular season for Prescott. It’s all Grand Canyon Region opponents from here on out. Tomorrow, the Badgers are on the road yet again when they travel to Flagstaff High School. On Friday, Prescott has its first home game since December 8th. They take on Lee Williams.
