Friday down in Tucson, the Prescott girls soccer team could not get on the board in their match versus Salpointe Catholic.
Tuesday, the Lady Badgers looked to rectify that situation against Mingus. That would be a tall order, as the Lady Marauders had not allowed a goal in any of their power point games. Mingus kept that shutout streak going, blanking Prescott 2–nil. It’s the third time this season the Lady Badgers have been shut out. They fall to 3–4 on the season.
Prescott will now have a long break between games. They don’t take the pitch again until January 23, when they face Notre Dame Prep, who are 9–3 on the season. That will be the Lady Badgers’ first home game since December 15.
Prescott will also be home January 27 versus Flagstaff.
