All across Yavapai County, sheriff’s deputies and detectives fanned out for a major operation to track down suspects on outstanding warrants. The operation took place on January 10th and resulted in 13 arrests.
One person was arrested on an extradition warrant out of Maricopa County for theft and unlawful use of food stamps. Another was taken into custody on a grand jury warrant for trafficking stolen property. In one instance, deputies attempted to arrest a DUI suspect in Prescott Valley. The driver fled but was later arrested. Additional suspects were arrested on various charges, from disorderly conduct to missed child support payments.
The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office received help from the Prescott and Chino Valley police departments, and the Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking, or PANT, in this operation.
