How do you follow up a 9–0 blowout win over Mingus? By giving a repeat performance. Last Wednesday, the Prescott boys soccer team drubbed the Marauders, with Angel Sanchez and Cole Schumann leading the offense with a pair of hat tricks.
Last Friday, Mohave came to town, and again, the Badgers sent a volley of balls into the net. When it was all said and done, Prescott made it back-to-back 9–0 victories. Stoney Booth, Cole Schumann, and Angel Sanchez each notched two goals. Trypp Challenger, Will Townsend, and Antonio Penaloza each had a goal.
Prescott is now 4–4 in its power point games. Their two 9–0 wins come after suffering back-to-back shutout losses to begin the month of January. The Badgers are off until next Monday, when they head up to Flagstaff High School.
