Officials with Yavapai County Community Health Services announced a recall for Spring and Mulberry’s mint leaf date sweetened chocolate bars. Spring and Mulberry is voluntarily recalling lot number 0-2-5-2-5-5 because of possible salmonella contamination.
YCCHS officials say salmonella can cause serious and possibly fatal infections in young children, the elderly, and others with weakened immune systems. The product has been available for purchase online and through retailers since September 15th, 2025. While there have been no reported illnesses, Spring and Mulberry says customers should check the back of the package for the lot code and dispose of any product matching the affected lot.
Consumers can request a refund on the Spring and Mulberry website.
