Local scoreboard from the weekend, in basketball, for the guys, Yavapai College fell to Cochise 83–80. Alex Pierce tallied 16 points. Embry-Riddle erased Ottawa 82–56. Noah Giftt registered 21 points. Bradshaw Mountain lost to Mingus 80–53.
Ladies, Yavapai College got topped by Cochise 86–54. Kayla Bailey posted 14 points. Embry-Riddle lost to Ottawa 70–63. Morgan Evenson put up 15 points. Prescott knocked off Mohave and Sunnyslope 78–9 and 56–51, respectively. Addie Prisciandaro put up 26 points in the Mohave game. Bradshaw Mountain bested Mingus 55–44. Kortney Bennett collected 19 points.
The Yavapai College softball team went 1–3 at the Pima Invitational. Kayley Gibb had two RBIs and two runs scored in the win over Chandler-Gilbert.
Girls soccer, Prescott lost to Notre Dame Prep 2–0. Bradshaw Mountain fell to Sunrise Mountain 8–0.
Wrestling, Embry-Riddle lost to Southern Oregon 25–19 and defeated Corban 36–12. At the West Valley Invitational, Bradshaw Mountain finished second. Riley Nollet was named the invite’s outstanding wrestler.
