The chief of the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority has an added responsibility. John Feddema has been elected board chairman of the Arizona State Fire Training Committee.
The group’s purpose is to advance firefighter training and leadership development. It also oversees the annual Arizona Fire School.
Feddema was appointed CAFMA’s chief last summer.
