Animal control officers in Yavapai County rescued a large dog from a 12-foot-deep trench.
Paul Wick with the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office says the Akita may have been trapped in that trench for as long as three days:
Wick says officers used a long, pole-style grabber to lift the dog out.
