Cadets from Bradshaw Mountain High School’s JROTC program recently brought home top honors from the Raider competition hosted at Marcos de Niza High School.
Competing in a series of events testing strength, stamina, and teamwork, the ten-cadet team placed first in the 1,000-meter medical evacuation, where they carried two stretchered “casualties” without dropping them. They also took second in the Mogadishu Mile — a one-mile run while carrying heavy gear.
The competition was part of the career and technical education program at Bradshaw Mountain High School.
