A fire alarm went off at the Yavapai County Detention Center in Prescott Friday afternoon. An investigation by sheriff’s deputies, Prescott police, and Prescott firefighters turned up no sign of fire, smoke, or hazardous materials.
The cause of the alarm remains under investigation. All inmates and staff are safe and accounted for.
