Arizona Highway Safety Specialists will start construction February 23rd at two locations in Yavapai County; Rocking Chair Ranch Road at Mingus Avenue in Cottonwood and Iron Springs Road at the Spence Springs intersection in Prescott.
Work will continue through March 26th and includes installing new guardrail and replacing existing sections. Crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Officials say one lane of traffic will remain open at all times, but motorists should expect lane restrictions, reduced speeds and flagging operations in work zones. Drivers are advised to plan for minor delays, allow extra travel time, and follow all posted traffic control devices through the construction areas.
