The last week of February means the start of high school baseball season. Prescott kicks off the 2026 campaign Thursday down in the Valley at the Adam Donnenfield Tournament. The Badgers will face ALA Mesa North, Yuma, Arcadia, and Gilbert Christian. Prescott’s first home game is March 6th versus Greenway.
Bradshaw Mountain also begins the season on Thursday. They, too, will be in the Valley for the Cougar Classic. The Bears will compete in four games versus Shadow Mountain, Paradise Valley, Northwest Christian, and Sahuarita. Bradshaw’s home opener is March 3rd versus Peoria.
Chino Valley will also begin its season at the Cougar Classic. They have two games Wednesday versus North Valley and Cactus, and two games Friday versus Blue Ridge and Phoenix Christian. They will take their home field for the first time in 2026 on March 3rd versus Bourgade Catholic.
