The Prescott girls basketball team cleaned up in the All-Grand Canyon Region awards. For the second straight year, Bella Abt was named the overall region Player of the Year. She became the first Lady Badger to make the 1,000/1,000 club in her career. For the third time in her career, Addie Prisciandaro was named the region Offensive Player of the Year. She averaged 22 points per game and reached the century mark in three-pointers for the season. Jami Johnson was named region Coach of the Year, leading Prescott to the Final Four of state.
In addition, Lilly James made the All-Region Second Team, and Bantlee Crockett and Cate Jones were All-Region honorable mentions.
For Bradshaw Mountain, Emma Johnson was named to the All-Region Second Team, and Allie Downing and Kenna Martinez were honorable mentions.
In the 3-A West Region, Chino Valley’s Brooke Baziuk made the All-Region First Team, and Samantha Amaya and Annabelle Mazzella were honorable mentions.
