The City of Prescott has begun a major infrastructure improvement project along Cherry Drive. Upgrades will be performed on the water lines and drainage, and the roadway will be reconstructed between Middlebrook Road and Linden Road.
Crews with Earth Resources Corporation are removing trees this week to make way for a new drainage ditch.
Work hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Drivers may encounter rough road conditions, lane restrictions, and flaggers directing traffic. City officials are also asking residents to avoid on-street parking during construction to help crews work safely and keep the project on schedule.
The project is expected to be completed this fall.
