Yavapai County voters will decide on an increase in the jail district excise tax. The Board of Supervisors Wednesday unanimously approved a call for election and the ballot language for the issue.
Board Vice Chair Nikki Check pointed out:
The tax increase would go from a quarter-cent to a half-cent.
