Units from the Copper Canyon Fire District had not one, but two vehicle fires to deal with at the same time.
On Thursday night, crews responded to a semi-truck fire along I-17, as well as a vehicle fire at South Ralston Ranch Road in Camp Verde. Flames from the vehicle fire spread into nearby brush, requiring a brush truck to be called in.
The blaze was quickly contained. No injuries were reported at either fire. The cause of the vehicle fire on South Ralston Ranch Road remains under investigation.
