There was another vehicle fire in the Verde Valley. Early Friday morning, crews from the Verde Valley Fire District were called out to East Pelia Avenue in the Verde Villages after a car crashed and caught fire. Firefighters managed to extinguish the flames before they spread to a nearby structure. The cause of the crash and the condition of the driver are not known.
Last Thursday, crews from the Copper Canyon Fire District responded to two vehicle fires that occurred simultaneously.
