Chino Valley will be the site of a child care conference later this month. Regional leaders are coming together to address child care as a growing economic concern.
First Things First Yavapai, along with several community partners, will host a discussion titled “Child Care and Economic Growth in Yavapai County.” The event is scheduled for April 24th from 9 to 1 a.m. at Grace Church on Highway 89.
Event organizers say limited access to child care is impacting workforce participation across the region. When families cannot find reliable care, employers face staffing challenges and economic growth can slow.
Leaders from business, housing, and community organizations will review data, share ideas, and explore solutions.
