Yavapai County Recorder Michelle Burchill is warning residents about unsolicited voter registration mailers.
In a social media post and interview, Burchill said the Center for Voter Information — a non-partisan nonprofit — sent notices to roughly 10,000 addresses in the county. The mailers suggest some voters may have moved or need to update their records. She says the mailings are often duplicative or outdated and are causing confusion for residents.
Burchill says the mailers are not from county government. For official voter registration or updates, visit YavapaiVotes.gov or AZMVDNow.gov.
