Prescott police are investigating a single-vehicle crash along Highway 89 near the Granite Dells that led to a DUI arrest.
Officers responded to reports of an injury collision just north of the Willow Lake roundabout last Friday around 4:30 p.m. Investigators say a black Maserati heading northbound left the roadway and traveled more than 300 feet before striking a culvert, a rock face, and a tree. Evidence at the scene indicated the vehicle veered toward oncoming traffic twice during the incident.
The driver, an adult male, was not injured. However, he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of marijuana and may face additional charges, including endangerment.
