On Tuesday afternoon, a brushfire at the Granite Gardens Trailhead in the Granite Dells shut down traffic on a portion of Highway 89. Not long after firefighters extinguished the blaze, the YCSO arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with the brushfire.
YCSO spokesman Paul Wick tells The News:
The man is charged with reckless burning and endangerment.
