March Traffic Stats for Prescott

The Prescott Police Department reports a busy month for its traffic team, with hundreds of enforcement actions carried out in March.


Officers issued 237 citations and nearly 200 warnings, along with 377 parking citations and more than 60 parking warnings.


Police also investigated 40 traffic collisions during the month.


Enforcement efforts led to nine DUI arrests and 22 total arrests, with 17 vehicles impounded.

Police officials say the activity reflects ongoing work to address unsafe driving behaviors, including speeding and impaired driving. The traffic team also emphasizes education, working to encourage safer habits behind the wheel.
