Much of Seligman suffered a power outage. According to the Seligman Fire District, a semi-truck crashed into a power pole on I-40 Wednesday night. The resulting accident dropped power lines into the roadway and caused the truck to burst into flames. The occupants of the truck were trapped for a time due to live power lines, but were eventually rescued.
The Red Cross set up a relief center at the fire station to provide residents with water, snacks, and refills for oxygen tanks.
