The first phase of asphalt paving has begun along Glassford Hill Road in Prescott Valley. Crews are paving new northbound and southbound lanes between Bear Path and Spouse Drive, with additional paving on existing lanes scheduled over the next few weeks.
Town officials say installation of a new effluent water main has been completed, and crews will continue with roadway grading, curb and sidewalk installation, drainage work, and retaining wall construction along the corridor between Bear Path and Santa Fe Loop Road.
One lane in each direction will remain open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Friday. Drivers should expect delays, watch for construction crews and equipment, and follow all posted traffic controls.
