Prescott Unified School District has been recognized as one of the nation’s best communities for music education. The district is a recipient of the 2026 Best Communities for Music Education Award.
PUSD officials say the honor reflects strong support for music programs across the district, including funding, instructional time, student participation, facilities, and community involvement.
The selection process includes a comprehensive application and review of key performance indicators. All applications were independently reviewed and verified by WolfBrown, a national research and evaluation firm specializing in education and the arts.
District leaders say the recognition underscores the value of music education in supporting a well-rounded student experience.
