The number of championship banners for the Embry-Riddle women’s golf team keeps getting bigger. Yesterday, the Lady Eagles captured their second straight Great Southwest Athletic Conference title, to go along with the numerous ones they won as members of the Cal Pac Conference.
Riddle finished with a three-day total of 958, with Ottawa second at 984. Individually, Lila Becker finished fourth with a 239. She was followed by Charlotte Giffin in fifth place with a 240, with Olivia Zamarripa sixth and Emma Marshall eleventh.
The Embry-Riddle men, meanwhile, finished the GSAC tournament in third place. Individually, Prescott grad Jonathan Tso ended up in a three-way tie for second with a score of 225. Tyler Tamayori tied for ninth and Robert Brackett tied for 20th.
The team championship went to Ottawa University for the third year in a row.
