ADOT has updated its work schedule for a guardrail replacement project along Highway 89A in Oak Creek Canyon.
Starting next Monday, ADOT crews will work Mondays through Thursdays only, with no construction on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays to help ease weekend travel. The project includes replacing guardrails, improving curbs, and installing concrete barriers.
Drivers should expect lane restrictions between Pine Flat Campground and Oak Creek Vista. Temporary traffic signals will direct one-way traffic through the work zone.
Motorists should plan for delays, especially during peak hours. Work is expected to be completed by late summer.
