Prescott residents can learn about a major sidewalk improvement project that is in the works. An open house on the Miller Valley Road/Grove Avenue project is scheduled for Wednesday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Crossroads Center at Prescott College on Garden Street.
City officials and project engineers will be on hand to discuss the planned upgrades. The project focuses on improving sidewalks, intersection ramps, and driveway access to meet Americans with Disabilities Act standards. Plans also include drainage improvements, new signage, pavement markings, and some utility relocation.
Attendees can drop in at any time to ask questions and provide input. There will be no formal presentation.
Construction on Miller Valley Avenue and Grove Avenue is expected to begin this summer.
