Chino Valley residents have one last chance to sign up for the 2026 Citizens Academy.
Town officials say only a few seats remain before the six-week program begins next week. The academy offers participants a behind-the-scenes look at how local government operates, including meetings with town staff, tours of key facilities, and insight into day-to-day decision-making.
Sessions will be held every Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., starting May 6th and running through June 9th. The program is free and open to adults 18 and older who live, own property, or operate a business in Chino Valley. Space is limited to 20 participants, with priority given to town residents.
Graduates of the academy will be recognized at the June 23rd Town Council meeting.
