ERAU Baseball, Softball Players Earn All-GSAC Honors

A veteran and a newcomer for the Embry-Riddle baseball team picked up all-conference honors. Senior Miles Murphy and freshman Jake Lokos both made the All-GSAC team. Murphy hit .286 with five home runs, 25 RBIs, 36 runs scored, and a .401 on-base percentage. Lokos batted .350 in his first year of collegiate ball with one home run, 26 RBIs, and 21 runs scored.

Onto softball, Embry-Riddle had four players make the All-GSAC team: Leah Salas, Claire Streeter, Kealey Myhre, and Ryan Da Costa. In their final seasons in a Riddle uniform, Salas hit .418 with ten homers, 50 RBIs, and 13 doubles, and Streeter went 19-7 in the circle with a 3.15 ERA and 195 strikeouts. Myhre hit .344 with nine homers and 42 RBIs. Da Costa—a freshman—batted .413 with 25 RBIs, 47 runs scored, and 22 stolen bases.

In addition, Myhre was named to the All-GSAC Gold Glove team.
