Winless Streak Over! NAZ Creams Iowa

It has been a season of struggle for the Northern Arizona Wranglers as they have dropped their first six games. Coach Ron James hoped a mid-season roster overhaul would right the ship, and that almost happened on May 9th as the Wranglers got within one point of their first “W” of the season against San Antonio.

On Sunday afternoon in Prescott Valley, there was no messin’ around for NAZ. They jumped on visiting Iowa and never let up throughout the game. In the end, the Wranglers got a convincing 57-33 victory over the Barnstormers to get in the win column for the first time in 2026. No stats were available prior to airtime.

Northern Arizona is on the road for the rest of the month. They are in California to face the San Diego Strike Force this coming Saturday, then go to the Valley May 30th for a rematch with the Arizona Rattlers. The Wranglers return home June 7th versus the Vegas Knight Hawks.
