As new areas were incorporated into the Town of Prescott Valley, many residents retained the old name associated with their ZIP code. Until recently, Prescott Valley residents in the 86327 ZIP code had to use Dewey in their address. Town officials announced Prescott Valley has been approved as an alternate mailing name for the 86327 ZIP code by the United States Postal Service district manager. This change allows residents to reflect their residency within Prescott Valley town limits on their mail.
Town officials note this change only applies to those within the incorporated limits of Prescott Valley. They say the United States Postal Service website should update with the change in the following weeks.
