This coming Monday is Memorial Day, and with it comes a change in the City of Prescott’s trash pickup schedule. Due to the holiday, solid waste collection will not take place on Monday. This will result in a one-day delay for residential and some commercial service for the remainder of the week. Commercial services are expected to return to their normal schedule by Thursday the 28th.
City officials add the waste transfer station will be closed Monday and will reopen at 7 a.m. on Tuesday.
