A week after notching their first win of the season, the Northern Arizona Wranglers hoped to make it two in a row as they traveled to San Diego Saturday. But the Strike Force owned the first quarter and put NAZ in a 23-0 hole. The Wranglers got their offense rolling after that, but San Diego kept piling on the points. In the end, Northern Arizona lost 67-35.
Anthony Garrett had two touchdown throws and a touchdown run for the Wranglers. Ka’Ron Ashley had 140 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Kieran Page had a pick six and seven tackles. Trae’Varis Ferrell recorded ten tackles. Zachary Vincenti and Dayvia Gbor both had five tackles.
The Wranglers are back in Arizona this Saturday, but will be down in Glendale to face the Arizona Rattlers. NAZ is back home June 7th versus the Vegas Knight Hawks.
